The basic principles about the chest X-ray examination of a patient on the ICU.

The present course focuses in particular on the position of the breathing tube and inserted lines. Knowledge of the heart and the location of the major vessels in the chest are essential for effective evaluation of the breathing tube and the lines; see figure 2.
