    CT Perfusion

Nowadays, many hospitals have a CT scanner capable of performing CT perfusion. In recent years, this examination has gained significant value in diagnosing and treating patients with cerebral infarction. A CT perfusion examination provides information about brain perfusion at a cellular level and arterial patency. This can provide prognostic information about functional outcomes (and future care dependency).
