    Pathology - Spinal Stenosis

Spinal stenosis refers to a group of conditions (congenital or acquired) that narrow the spinal canal. This can be further divided anatomically into stenosis of the central spinal canal, lateral recess, and neuroforamina.
Importantly: in practice, the term 'spinal stenosis' is most of time used for stenosis of central spinal canal.
