De basis principes over het MRI LWK onderzoek.
Pathologie - Kanaalstenose
Kanaalstenose verwijst naar een groep aandoeningen (congenitaal of verworven) die het spinale kanaal vernauwd. Dit kan anatomisch verder onderverdeeld worden in stenosering van het centrale spinale kanaal, de laterale recessus en de neurofoamina.
Belangrijk: in de praktijk wordt de term ‘kanaalstenose’ gebruikt voor stenosering van het centrale spinale kanaal.
